CHEM 102: Basic Chemistry (6 ECTS credits)

Prerequisite: undergraduate standing

The aim of the course is to present knowledge of bioorganic and physical chemistry. It focuses on the basic concepts and principles of general, inorganic and organic chemistry, discussing the main compounds, phenomena, principles and reactions of human metabolism. The main goal is to form an understanding that the principles which are determined in vitro are basic in understanding principles in vivo, taking into account their specificity and integration.
