People

The Department has 2 full-time faculties, 2 staff members and 4 teaching assistants dedicated to producing a learning environment where working journalists are trained and critical questions are asked.

The faculty and staff take pride in the over 15 year history of the Department and its commitment to the formation of skilled and thinking journalists, as well as the production of scholarship, criticism, commentary and journalism.

We perceive journalism as a public service and our curriculum and research programs are designed to help students become the intelligent and versatile journalists and researchers upon which society depends for the exercise of its democratic functions.
