Upon invitation from Misr University for Science and Technology, Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, visited Cairo, capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on March 21-24, 2016.
While Prof. Isaxanli was in Cairo, on March 23rd he signed an agreement between Misr University for Science and Technology and Khazar University. Participants in the signing ceremony included representatives of the president’s office, deans, and academic departments of Misr University for Science and Technology as well as visiting professors from other universities and Rafael Baghirov, the former Charge d-Affaires of the Azerbaijan Republic to the Arabic Republic of Egypt.
Participants in discussion about the agreement included Professor M. El Saadani, Vice President of Misr University for Science and Technology; Prof. Mahmoud A. El Kady, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Moushira Suelem, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Translation; Dr. Sonia M. El-Bakry, Vice Dean for Post Graduate Affairs and Research; and Dr. Jasmin Alkashif, employee of the same university for International Affairs.
Dr. Ahmed Sami Elaydy, Cultural Attache and Director of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Relations Center of the Embassy of Arab Republic of Egypt to the Azerbaijan Republic; Charge d-Affaires of the Azerbaijan Republic to the Arabic Republic of Egypt; Prof. Dr. Adel Darwish, Professor at Helwan University and Former Consultant and Director of Egyptian Cultural Center in the State of Azerbaijan; and others made speeches at the event.
