Persons who are officially certified a document of graduation from complete secondary schools, vocational college or higher education are entitled to enter higher education.
Student admission to the Khazar University is carried out on a general basis. Prospective students participate in a general contest by taking test exams administered by the State Examination Center and enter the university provided they score a necessary point.
If the admission plan of the university is not completely fulfilled, then additional contest can be held. Prospective students who participated in test exams administered by the State Examination Center and scored necessary point can take part in the contest.
Bachelor's degree education is offered on state order (at the expense of the state budget) or on a paid basis.
Education at Khazar University is regulated through a special contract made between the university and clients - a parent, student or enterprise.
At the beginning of an academic year, newly admitted students take a placement test at the Department of English Language and Literature and are grouped according to their level of language skills.
